The Spooky Haunted Forest Plan

T
The spooky haunted forest!
O
One day there was a  little girl named Chrastia, she was 7 years old with blonde curly hair. Chrastia was a well behaved little girl, she also helped her mother and always looks after her siblings.  One evening she went out to look for mushrooms for her family's dinner. She didn't know where she was going. Somehow she ended up in the darkest part of the forest all alone. She started to hear howling sounds, leaves moving, footsteps and even children talking.
P
She doesn't know where she is. She's hearing spooky sounds and she is all alone.
S
She sprints forwards to the nearest part of light hoping she is safe. She is finally in the light and is not afraid.

Reflection

What I have gained from 2015

2015 was a great year for me. In 2015 I gained a lot confidence. Gaining confidence has let me express myself and talk in front of large crowds. Last year I learnt how to step up and be a leader. I had my ups and downs last year, girl drama and all. One of my favourite things last year was going to camp at Kawau Island.

My GOALS for 2016

This year one of my goals is to become a leader. I am now at the age of inspiring younger children and setting my own goals. I am looking forward to been a year 7 because we get a lot of opportunities.`

My Letter

Walt:Compose a letter to your teacher about yourself
-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____-----_____---

Kia Orana, Talofa Lava, Malo E Lelei and greetings to you all.

This year I am very privileged to be apart of Room 2. I will be spending time with Miss Clark and the rest of the Room 2 students. This letter will provide you with some information about my background.

My name is Venetia. My life started on the 11th of October 2004 at Auckland Hospital. The funny thing is when my life started my dad was parking the car so he missed out on my birth. Fortunately my aunty was there to cut my umbilical cord. Ever since my birth I have been really close to my aunty.

Right now I am a year 7 student. This year I was chosen to be apart Room 2 with Miss Clark and the rest of the year 7&8 students. I started Pt England Primary in 2009. I was 5 years old when I started school here. School here is amazing. When I first started school we had books and pencils, now we have Ipads and netbooks.

In my family I am the only girl which makes me the princess of the family. I have 3 brothers and 1 on the way. I am very excited to be having a another brother. Its pretty weird, I will have a newborn brother and a 21 year old brother as well as my 20 year old brother and my 18 year old brother.

Growing up was kind of hard for me. I was the only girl in my family, I was the youngest of the family too. If I wanted to play, it had by myself or with my cousins. When I was a baby my brothers were my age right now. It was pretty tough.

My cultures are Cook Island and European. My mum is from the Cook Island and my dad is from New Zealand. My mum comes from the island Rarotonga and my dad comes from Ratahi/Otaki. In my culture I am also a bit of Tahitian and Maori. I love my culture dearly and always will.

During my spare time I like to hang out with my friends and family and eat. My family and I like to go out to restaurants. When I'm with my friends on the other hand we like to chat, take selfies and listen to music. Im very grateful that I have a wonderful family and trustworthy friends. One day I would love to live with my friends.

Music has been a big thing in my life. It's like freedom. It takes everything off your mind so you can relax. Unlike others I have more than 1 artist I admire. I am inspired by many artists and their music. One my personal favourites is Beyonce.

I love my parents dearly. They have been through it all, the rough and smooth. They inspire me with their hard work and perseverance. I am very grateful that they are still with me till this day. I love them as they love me.

My letter has now come to an end. I hope you found out a little more about my background. If you have any questions comment below or come to my classroom  (Room 2 Pt England School).

Yours sincerely
Venetia

Kawau Island- Recount

Walt: summarise a week long experience into a recount.

4 chaotic days filled with laughter.  Away from my family but still having fun. Scared to death, because we thought our cabin was haunted. Camp Bentzon was the bomb.

The yr6Å› of Pt England School have been going to Camp Bentzon for as long as you can imagine. This year it was our turn. Sleeping in cabins with your friends, eating lollies and enjoying the wonderful activities, what a great 4 days.

Meeting in the hall the yr6s were excited, especially me. Group by group the teachers called the roll. It was time to board the bus. Waving to my mother, I was so sad. Thirty minutes into the bus ride I started to secretly eat with Yvonne. We arrived at Sandspit

As the ferry pulled into the Camp Bentzon wharf we started to sing our school haka. We sang as loud as we could, making sure the spirit lay at Camp Bentzon. As we were we singing our haka the people who run the camp (Peter and Erin) were waiting there for us. Once we finished our haka we had a round of applause. With excitement we all ran to the door wanting to get out first. Each one of us made a line and started to unpack the ferry. Once we were all done we set out for our hike.

The next day we started to do our rotations. My favorite activity was Abseiling. I was the first girl to go and the second out of all. Abseiling was the best. My next favorite activity was Sailing. My partner Rosalina nearly fell out because she kept on moving the Tiller fast. On the last day of camp we had sports rotations. We had bush baseball, volley ball, touch and swimming. I enjoyed baseball the most. Camp was awesome.

It was time to go home. We packed the ferry and started our journey back to Sandspit. Once we were at Sandspit we unpacked the ferry and put all of our bags into the bus. It was time to set off and go back home.

Overall I enjoyed camp. It was a amazing experience for me. I enjoyed every moment of Camp Bentzon. Falling out of my kayak, sitting on a white tail, Best Camp EVER. Camp memories are still in my mind. I wish I could go back.
